Our People

 

Mr Xiaolin Ma – Director

 

A Solicitor, is the Managing Director and founding of V&T Solicitors. He is also the firms Compliance Officer for Legal Practice and Financial Administration.
Xiaolin has over 10 years’ experience working in the legal sector, and following qualification as a Solicitor, worked at Cruickshank Solicitors as partner in London before establishing V&T Solicitors in 2017.
His specialism is all conveyancing works especially new build properties. He is also specialism in all immigration cases especially Tier 1 visas and Sole Representative visas. Xiaolin is fluent Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Xiaolin’s outside interests include sports, arts, traveling and reading.

Ms Ying Mu—Director

 

Ying was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales in March 2013. She has over 10 years’ experience working in the legal sector. 
Her specialism is Employment, Family (general), and Immigration (nationality and citizenship). She speaks fluent English and Mandarin.

Ms Lei Feng – Solicitor

 

Lei joined V&T Solicitors in 2017, she was admitted as a Solicitor in Feb 2020, she has more than 6 years’ experience working in the legal sector.
Her specialism is Immigration (nationality and citizenship) and Commercial property. She speaks fluent English and Mandarin.

 

Ms Ann Yee Fai Chan- Consultant

 

Ann has practiced successfully in Manchester for over 30 years. She has extensive experience in all aspects of residential and commercial transactions, commercial leases and landlord and tenant matters. Testament to Ann’s reputation as a first-class lawyer is the fact she has consistently retained repeat clienteles spanning the length of her career. Ann considers herself a problem solver and has represented all her clients, whether of high value or otherwise, with the same dedication and commercial attitude, achieving results no matter how challenging the issues, because she has the ability to think laterally and outside the box. Ann’s clienteles consider her to be the “go to person” for all their needs.

 
Mr Liwen Gao - Trainee Solicitor

 

Liwen joined us in 2017 has experience in immigration litigation and property law. He has over 4 years’ experience working in the legal sector. He being a key member of our firm, his attitude and work ethic have earned a great deal of respect from clients.
Liwen is supervised by Mr Xiaolin MA. And Liwen’s interests include sports, traveling and reading. Liwen is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

 

Ms Annie Yang Zhang - Trainee Solicitor

 

Annie worked at JMW solicitors as a conveyancing assistant for about 4 years before joining V & T Solicitors in 2020.
She is experienced in handling all aspects of Conveyancing, including sales, purchases, right to buy, re-mortgage and also has a specialism in dealing with new build purchase. She also has experience in commercial sale and purchase for small businesses. Annie is supervised by Mr Xiaolin MA. Annie is fluent in English and Mandarin.
